Guo Liping has an M.A in English and a Ph.D in the history and philosophy of science and medicine. She is currently Professor of English and Deputy Director at the Institute for Medical Humanities, Peking University. Her current research interests include literature and medicine, medical humanities education, and narrative medicine. In the past decade, she has published nearly 30 articles and book chapters in the above fields and edited two books.
